My Role

As Business Intelligence workstream lead, I was accountable for the approach, planning, and delivery of reporting and analytics (including the end-to-end design of business and technology solutions and an on-time/on-budget milestone delivery).

 

Objectives

  1. Redesign retail processes and technology to reduce time spent on operational tasks.

  2. Introduce business and technology foundations for future omnichannel capabilities.

  3. Replace expensive legacy AS400 technology with modern technology.

Scope

  • Store replenishment, inventory reallocation, obsolescence and merchandise pull-backs, operational reporting and analytics

  • Third-party finished-goods purchasing, internal-manufacturing purchasing, indirect procurement, operational reporting and analytics

  • Warehouse inventory management, warehouse and store order fulfillment, customer fulfillment, customer returns and exchanges, store and warehouse returns, operational reporting and analytics

  • Inventory receiving, store inventory management, transfer requests, customer and store order fulfillment, point-of-sale transactions, customer returns and exchanges, back-office reconciliation, operational reporting and analytics

  • General accounting, accounts payable, sales audit, accounts receivable, fixed assets, period close, operational reporting and analytics
