My Role

Working as informal Chief of Staff, I’m responsible for ensuring strategic priorities align with real data insights, that the roadmap evolves with priorities and resourcing constraints, and that the teams and initiatives are governed for success.

 

Objectives

  1. Maintain a realistic but aggressive strategic roadmap plan to expand digital sales penetration.

  2. Establish governance processes to monitor and communicate critical path initiatives.

  3. Resolve issues as they arise in key areas.

 

Challenges

  1. Creating a compelling multi-year strategy supported by data

  2. Communicating multi-million dollar investment opportunities to the board of directors and outside investors

  3. Establishing governance for large-scale initiatives and cross-functional teams

 

Scope

  • Targeting and personalization, email marketing, text and push marketing, retail media promotion

  • Digital asset management, digital content management, search and recommendations, mobility

  • Account management, membership management, cart and checkout, coupons and promotions, in-store self-checkout, online payment, fraud and trust-level management, email notifications, subscriptions, B2B sales

  • Inventory availability services, order management and order routing, pickup and delivery order fulfillment, last-mile delivery management, refunds and returns
